Jean Luc Goddard once wrote that all you need to make a movie is a girl and a gun. Director Andy Sidaris has several women with many guns in his features and this month we want to honor some of them.
Joining The Vern for the very 1st movie in our Sidaris September series is podcaster and voice actor Jason Soto from Whatever With Jason Soto(https://www.patreon.com/whateverwithjasonsoto) . They talk about what is considered the best in his filmography, Hard Ticket to Hawaii.

Ah, I love Andy Sidaris. To me, he is a true Auteur and certainly made movies that are just fun to watch. Never take themselves seriously. Very little plot as he definitely followed what Godard said. Except Sidaris added boobs and explosions. A genius who is sadly missed as I have his Girls, Guns, and G-Strings DVD collection that I bought for $10 at Barnes & Noble a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your comments. I agree he is quite the Auteur . His flicks would never be made again and it makes me kind of sad.
